Don is an internationally recognized authority, consultant and speaker on business strategy and organizational transformation, and a recognized thought leader on the Net Generation. This is the transformational generation that uses digital tools to develop and impose their culture and beliefs on all aspects of society, from how brands are marketed to how employees are recruited and retained.
Don has authored or co-authored 11 widely-read books including the international bestseller Growing Up Digital: The Rise of the Net Generation and the soon to be published Wikinomics: How Mass Collaboration Changes Everything, co-authored by Anthony Williams. His penultimate book, co-authored by David Ticoll, is The Naked Corporation: How the Age of Transparency Will Revolutionize Business. It describes how corporate transparency, accountability, and stakeholder relationships are the new frontier for competitive innovation.
Don Tapscott is chief executive of New Paradigm, which he founded in 1993, and adjunct professor of management, Joseph L. Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
