Alan Hallberg
Senior Director, Worldwide Advertising and Demand Generation, Cisco

Alan is responsible for Cisco’s global advertising, direct marketing, and CRM efforts as well as Cisco’s global systems for e-Marketing. His team creates communication strategies for Cisco’s global marketing campaigns and directs the implementation of those campaigns worldwide.

Before joining Cisco, Alan worked on both the agency side—at BBDO Paris—and the client side—at Apple Computers. At Apple, Alan held several marketing positions, including responsibility for driving desktop publishing revenues and introducing Apple products into the small business market.

Alan earned his undergraduate degree at Pomona College and has a law degree from the University of Virginia. Born and raised in Europe, Alan speaks French and Italian. He lives with his wife and two children in Palo Alto, California.
